MTP-MSAP1000 is an intelligent multi-service transmission system based on MSTP technology and STM-1 level. MSAP1000 provides 2 routes of STM-1 optical interfaces on line sides and Ethernet on branch sides as well as E1 and PCM (voice, 2/4W and V.24) access manner. It can meet the access needs of private network users such as electric power distribution network, industrial automation, communication and railway as well as operator to different bandwidth and multiple service interface types. It especially applies to the situations that transmission service bandwidth is not large and refers to multiple services.

MTP-MSAP1000 is an intelligent multi-service transmission system based on MSTP technology. MTP-MSAP1000 transmits E1 and PCM services(voice,2/4W and V.24) over 2 STM-1 optical interfaces.


■ Chassis Structure:19”×1U, modular structure with 3 service slots, 2 power slots

■ Cross Connection Capability: VC12: 252×252 64k: 128×128

■ Service Interfaces

SDH: 2×STM-1 with hot swappable SFP connectors

E1: Maximum 63×E1 (maximum 24×E1 per slot), slots 3 provides maximum 22×E1 when using VC12 or E1

management channels

FE: Maximum 24 Fast Ethernet electrical interfaces, port bandwidth configurable (1-48×VC12)

PCM: Maximum 24×FXS/FXO, 12×2/4W or 12×V.24

■ Three types of Clock Timing Sources:

External clock source(T3/T4): 2Mbps or 2MHz is optional

Line clock (T1): STM-N line clock

Internal clock complied with ITU-T G.813 standard

■ Network Protections: Support 1+1 path protection with less than 20ms switching time

■ Provide abundant alarm and status indications including LEDs and a buzzer

■ Support multiple types of port loopback tests

■ Management channels: Support three channel types, DCN, DCC or E1 for different network environments

■ Management Interfaces:

Ethernet management interface with RJ-45 connector

Console management interface

Alarm output interface

■ Provide both 220VAC and -48VDC power modules, support redundant power protection. The maximum power

consumption is less than 20W
